He hears the spears’ and the shields’ clash

The only difference that I can see is in the generally accepted version of these arms the crowned lion supporters are shown as being reguardant (ie: looking back over these shoulders)

The hand painted view opens to reveal a further painted image of a boating scene in a shallow river
